The Community Anchor Trading Card Celebration, presented by Kayla Turner of Kayy Love Management and the Positivity Pays Foundation, brought the heart of St. Lucie County together for a night of gratitude, storytelling, and celebration. Held in Fort Pierce, the event was completely sold out, with every seat filled by people who came to recognize the real-life heroes who have shaped the community.

Social media was buzzing for days leading up to the event, with residents eager to get their hands on the rare and exclusive Community Anchor trading cards. By the end of the night, over 150 cards had been distributed—each one signed by the honorees themselves. The cards have quickly become collector’s items, symbolizing not just admiration, but the deep connection the community feels toward its leaders.

The event’s success was made possible in large part by the generous support of Humana, who served as the title sponsor. Known for their work across the Treasure Coast, Humana has consistently invested in improving community well-being, offering healthcare access, outreach programs, and support for families and seniors. Their commitment to connection, compassion, and health made them the perfect partner for a celebration that honored individuals doing the same in their own way.

Humana team members attended the event, provided branded materials, and took time to speak to attendees about the importance of collective community care. Their presence added depth to the evening and reinforced the message that true health is about more than medicine—it’s about meaningful relationships.

With decades of service to youth in Fort Pierce, Sandy Mack, Sr. is more than a mentor—he’s a community staple. Through Camp About Face, a structured mentorship program for boys ages 8 to 18, Sandy has helped shape the lives of countless young men. His unwavering presence, rooted in faith and discipline, has guided generations through the toughest moments of their lives. Whether teaching through music at Miracle Prayer Temple or through words in the community, his influence continues to ripple outward.

A true public servant, Sheriff Del Toro has devoted over 25 years to keeping St. Lucie County safe—and under his leadership, it now ranks as one of the safest large counties in the entire country. As a former Assistant Chief and now Sheriff, his steady hand, transparency, and dedication to community partnership have redefined what law enforcement can look like. Beyond the badge, he’s known for his willingness to serve with compassion and his deep belief in creating safer spaces for every resident.

As CEO of the Children’s Services Council, Sean Boyle has transformed the landscape of support for youth and families in St. Lucie County. Under his leadership, key programs like St. Lucie Reads have helped improve early literacy, while health initiatives have reduced uninsured rates among children. Known for his thoughtful approach and sharp focus on outcomes, Sean has helped dozens of local nonprofits grow and thrive, ensuring that the Council remains a beacon of innovation and transparency in public service.

CSM Clyde Mitchell, Jr. served in the U.S. Army for 25 years, completing five combat tours and rising to the highest rank an enlisted soldier can achieve. His military career was marked by discipline, courage, and unmatched leadership. But even in retirement, his service hasn’t stopped. He now leads in his local church, mentors young people, and shares his powerful story of perseverance. For the youth of Fort Pierce, CSM Mitchell is proof that greatness can come from humble beginnings—and that discipline and faith can take you far.

Cultural preservationist and founder of the Highwaymen Museum, Mrs. Doretha Hair Truesdell has worked tirelessly to protect and promote the legacy of Florida’s legendary Black artists. As the widow of famed painter Alfred Hair, Doretha has ensured that the story of the Highwaymen remains alive for generations to come. Through her work, children and adults alike are learning the importance of cultural pride, artistic expression, and the power of resilience in the face of adversity.

The Community Anchor Trading Card Celebration wasn’t just about honoring individuals—it was about uplifting a vision of community that centers service, love, and leadership. It was about giving kids in the room real role models. It was about saying thank you to those who give so much and expect nothing in return. Every signature on a trading card represented a life touched, a story told, and a future inspired.

Kayla Turner, alongside Positivity Pays, reminded us all that recognition is powerful. It doesn’t just validate—it uplifts, connects, and fuels the kind of change that lasts.

With Drippin Culture News and The Westside Gazette covering the event and more media outlets to come, the impact of this night will continue to grow. This was just the beginning of a tradition that celebrates the people who make Fort Pierce—and all of St. Lucie County—a place to be proud of.
